I belong to a club called the "Boondockers." You pay approximately $20 a year which allows you to be part of the club. What it does is put you in contact with people all across the country that will let you park on their property for free while you're traveling around in your RV.
When I told people I was going to stay on people's properties, of course, they thought I was CRAZY!
I, on the other hand, thought it would be a great way to meet people along the way...stay in their town...hear what it's like to live in that area, where's the best places to eat, etc.
For the past couple of days, because I was "boondocking," I (and Julee too) got to stay on, honestly, a little piece of heaven.
Here's where we parked (Robert, our host, was GREAT at helping me back up, by the way)
Here's some pictures of the wildlife here. We didn't see all of it, but we did see raccoons up close and personal, which was so cool, some ducks, horses, the steer without a name and some super cute dogs. Robert took these pictures: I think he's an amazing photographer. (Thanks, Robert, for the great pictures)
This is their house, but thank God it didn't look like this when we were here.
Here's some pictures of Robert. He DOES NOT like to have his picture taken, so we took three :)
Thanks, Robert & Brandy, for the privilege of staying on your 'Little Piece of Heaven."
You're quite welcome Lory. It was a pleasure to meet you and your sidekick and you're welcome to stay over anytime..Who knows maybe next time around you'll be backing that trailer up like a pro and won't need my help..
