See Ya Later, Texas

Texas is a BIG state.
I've been here a LONG time...well, about a week and a half.

I've stayed in Vinton, TX, with Robert & Brandy, which allowed me to visit Las Cruces, NM, and hang out with some horses, ducks, a steer now named SiSi, a puppy, dogs and some racoons.

Then Julee and I went to Fort Stockton, TX (woot woot)

Then it was on to Floresville, TX, to stay with Gary & Valinda and go to San Antonio

Then Julee left :( , and I went to Mustang Island and spent some time on the Gulf of Mexico

And the last couple of days, I've been in Port Arthur, TX, and got to tour some old houses today.

I am staying at a really nice RV park called Port Arthur RV Resort.
I went in to fill out some paperwork today and had the pleasure of meeting Claudia.  She is a believer in Jesus.  I think we ended up talking for about two hours!  We were both sharing our miracle stories.  She was very excited about my JOURNEY and very encouraging...like my very own JOURNEY cheerleader.
I NEEDED to talk to her today.  I have been by myself for a few days, which is fine, but I needed my cheerleader to encourage me and send me on my way to see what else God has in store.
One really cool thing she shared with me was that her husband was Joel Osteen's Sunday school teacher.
I just thought that was so funny :)

This is my new friend, Claudia (we're not that good at selfies)

And this is her video:

AMEN!

  1. Yay for Claudia! She looks so familiar to me, but I've probably never met her. However, when I get to see her in Heaven, she will look familiar to me then, because of you Lory and your dependable blogging! I'm so glad God sent you Claudia! And this weekend, He's sending you Austin, and then...Catherine! I gave her some instant coffee last night, told her I thought she would probably need it! Love you girl, God bless you.
